Deathstrike quickly doged to the side. he swept his claws along Whitestones side, leaving long, deep scratches. Whitestone fell to the ground and Deathstrike pinned him to the ground. "Like it or not, your father is Scourge. I would kill you, but a promise is a promise." hissed Deathstrike in Whitestones ear. He raked his claws once more along his sides, then along his muzzle.

Yarrowpaw lept at Deatherstrike and landed on his back.

Deathstrike turned and left Whitestone to die. he pulled Yarrowpaw off of Darkheart and padded off into the forest.

Yarrowpaw was left in confusion. Whitestone was beside her hardly breathing."Whitestone I am going to get help!" She dragged her injured mentor up into a tree hollow so he was safe. Yarrowpaw then dashed back to camp to find Sleekpelt.

"But..............half moon................" Whitestone mumbled before he drifted into an painful sleep. He saw a cat leaning over him all of a sudden. "Well so you have met Deathstrike." the cat meowed. "Who are you?" Whitestone mewed quietly. "I am Yellowfang." the dark gray she cat meowed. "Now you should know that your clan needs you. You have to stay with them. And don't worry about Deathstrike. He's not your biggest worry right now." "What do you mean by that?" meowed Whitestone, trying to sit. "Mousebrain, lay down and sleep. What i mean is that you're biggest threat isn't that right now. something that is more dangerous is comming. now sleep!" snapped Yellowfang sharply. Yellowfang started to fade away and Whitestone slipped into a dark sleep.

Stormtalon padded through the forest. She was not in a good mood, not that she's ever in a good mood. Her pelt was covered in mud so thick that she had already groomed herself twice and it still wouldn't come off. She was looking for some moss or some type of moving water when she saw a cat laying in a hollow of a tree. She padded over and winced. He was covered in scratch marks and almost dead. Stormtalon looked closer and sniffed him. Good, she thought, he is still breathing. i don't think there are enough cobwebs to save him though. Moss will have to do. She padded over and picked up some moss from a tree and started to clean up his fur from all of the warm blood. What kind of mousebrained cat lays out in the open when he's injured? Stormtalon thought as she went to gather more moss. she came back and kept cleaning up blood.

Yarrowpaw dashed and ran through the forest braches scratching her face and her paws hurt. She saw Sleekpelt and Gentlepaw. "Shineheart Gentlepaw Whitestone is hurt!"

Sleekpelt turned around and faced Yarrowpaw. "Gentlepaw, you go to the moonstone with Tulipleaf. I'll take care of Whitestone. Yarrowpaw lead the way." and with that Sleekplet followed Yarowpaw.

Yarrowpaw was close to exhaustion but she took a deep sigh and then bolted back the way she came. Her mentor was in danger and she wasn't about to give up on him.

Sleekpelt kept pace with the tired apprentice. she was afraid of what was wrong with Whitestone but didn't ask because she didn't want to waste breath. I hope we arn't too late..... thought Sleekpelt

"You did good Yarrowpaw. Now its my turn." Sleekpelt meowed. she turned to Whitestone and saw some moss on top of him. Just then a gray cat padded closer with more moss in her mouth. "What are you doing?" meowed the gray cat. "I'm helping my friend." hissed Sleekpelt. "well then i will go and get some more moss and some poppy seeds. and something for the little one." the she cat smirked and padded off.

A few min. later
"That should do him some good till we can get him home. Do you think you can come with us?" Sleekpelt meowed to Stormtalon. "Sure. You can't carry him to where ever your going all by your self." Stormtalon went and picked up Whitestone's body with her teeth. Sleekpelt and Stormtalon went swiftly back to the camp.

Yarrowpaw was still unconsious but no she had the funny feeling in the pit of her stomache that she was alone.

Stormtalon helped Sleekpelt get Whitestone settled in and then went back to Yarrowpaw. "Hey, mousebrain, wake up. you don't want to be killed like a mouse, do you?" Stormtalon proded Yarrowpaw in her belly

Yarrowpaw woke with a start to see a large fuzzy looking grey cat. "uhhhhhh" Then Yarrowpaw fell into unconsiousness again.

"Fine! Looks like i have to carry this lump of fur back to their camp!" Stormtalon grabbed Yarrowpaw by the scruff of her neck and started to haul her back to the camp.
